THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF
You aren’t ready to commit to learning FAM and being an active participant. FAM requires you to observe your cervical mucus throughout the day, take your basal body temperature each morning, and record your observations each night.
You’re currently on hormonal birth control and don’t plan to come off of it—Since HBC suppresses ovulation and obscures key fertility biomarkers like cervical mucus and basal body temperature, you won’t be able to effectively chart in real time during the course. This work is best suited for those who are off HBC or plan on coming off of it.
You aren’t willing to change your behaviors during your fertile window. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy you must be willing to abstain from sex, have alternative sex, or use a backup method of contraception like barriers during your fertile window.
